Predict pet weight by age
A pet keeps the same hatch weight for its whole life, so its weight at any age follows one fixed curve. Enter a current age and weight above, and this tool scales them to any target age. It works the same way as the full Grow a Garden calculator. Every figure here is a community estimate.
How to read your results
Hatch weight stays fixed
The tool first finds the hatch weight using Wh = 11 x W / (Age + 10). That number never changes, so it anchors every future prediction for that pet.
Weight scales with target age
Predicted weight is W = (Wh / 11) x (target age + 10). Because the curve is linear in age, an older pet is steadily heavier, and a pet above the expected weight for its age is the better one to keep.
Example weight curve
This example follows a pet that reads 5 kg at age 10. The numbers are community estimates from the formula above.
| Target age | Predicted weight | Life stage |
|---|
| 10 | 5.0 kg | Juvenile |
| 25 | 8.75 kg | Juvenile |
| 50 | 15.0 kg | Adult |
| 75 | 21.25 kg | Adult |
| 100 | 27.5 kg | Elder |

Frequently asked questions
How does the pet weight calculator work?+
It reads your pet's current age and weight, works out the fixed hatch weight behind them, then scales that hatch weight to any target age. The result is the community-estimated weight your pet should reach.
What is the pet weight formula in Grow a Garden?+
The community formula is hatch weight Wh = 11 x W / (Age + 10), then predicted weight W = (Wh / 11) x (target age + 10). Weight rises steadily with age because hatch weight stays fixed for a pet's whole life.
Does a heavier pet always give a bigger buff?+
Yes. A pet's passive ability scales with its weight, so a heavier pet of the same type gives a stronger buff. Use the pet ability calculator to estimate the buff at a given weight.
Can I compare two pets fairly?+
Compare them at the same age. Because weight tracks age on a fixed curve, a pet that is heavier than expected for its age is the better one to keep or trade.
Are these pet weights official numbers?+
No. Every value is a community estimate, not an official Roblox or Grow a Garden figure. Results can lag behind after balance updates or new events.
Why does my prediction differ slightly in game?+
Rounding and small in-game variations can shift the last digit. The calculator uses the community formula, so predictions track the game closely but are not guaranteed to the decimal.
