Grow a Garden Crop Value Calculator

This free crop value tool tells you what any crop is worth before you sell or trade it. Pick a crop, enter its weight, and choose any mutations. It combines base value, weight, and multipliers into one total, the same way the full Grow a Garden calculator does. Every number here is a community estimate, not an official figure.

How crop value is calculated

A crop's total comes from five parts multiplied together. The formula the community uses is shown below, and each part is explained underneath.

Value = Base x (Weight / Base Weight)^2 x Growth x (1 + sum of Env bonuses) x (1 + Friend) x Amount

Base value and weight

Every crop has a base value at its base weight. Because weight is squared, a heavier crop rises in value fast. A Watermelon at double its base weight is worth about four times its base value before any mutation is applied.

Growth and environmental mutations

One growth mutation applies at a time and multiplies the entire value. Environmental mutations stack, and their bonuses add together inside a single bracket. For the full breakdown, read the Grow a Garden mutations guide.

Tips for a higher crop value

Grow a crop to a heavier weight first, since weight is squared and rewards patience more than anything else. Then stack mutations on high base-value crops. A Divine crop like Mushroom or a Prismatic like Burning Bud is worth the most when it also carries a rare growth mutation, so these are usually your best options for big trades. Before you accept a deal, price both sides with the Grow a Garden trading guide in mind.

Frequently asked questions

How does the crop value calculator work?+

It multiplies a crop's base value by the square of its weight ratio, then applies your growth mutation, any stacked environmental mutations, a friend bonus, and the amount. The result is the community-estimated total in Sheckles.

Why does weight matter so much?+

Weight is squared in the value model, so it is the strongest single factor. A crop at double its base weight is worth about four times as much before any mutations are added.

Do mutations stack in the calculator?+

One growth mutation applies at a time and multiplies the whole value. Environmental mutations stack, and their bonuses add together inside one bracket rather than multiplying separately.

Which crop has the highest base value?+

Among the crops listed here, Mushroom carries the highest base value at about 136,000 Sheckles, followed by Burning Bud near 70,000 and Ember Lily near 60,000. All figures are community estimates.

Are these crop values official?+

No. Every number is a community estimate, not an official Roblox or Grow a Garden figure. Values are relative and can lag behind after new events or balance updates.

Can I work backward from a target value?+

Yes. The calculator has a value to weight mode that solves for the weight one item needs to reach a target total, given the crop, mutations, friend bonus, and amount.
